What we collect, and when

Nothing at all unless you send it. There is no login, no account, and nothing that follows you between sites.

If you fill in an enquiry form, we receive your name, your phone number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address, what the enquiry is about, and your message. The phone number is the only contact detail we actually need.

If you tap a WhatsApp button, we record that the button was tapped: which button, which page you came from, your browser’s user-agent string, and the time. We do not learn who you are from this — a tap is anonymous until you choose to send a message, and this record is a counter rather than anything attached to a person.

Page views are counted through Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not build a profile of you or track you across other sites. That is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Why

To answer you, and to quote and deliver work you have asked for. We also use the counts above to understand which parts of the site are useful, which is the only reason any analytics exists here.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone for marketing.

Where it goes

An enquiry is delivered to the studio, and to the system that runs our WhatsApp assistant so that whoever answers you can see what you already told us and does not ask you the same question twice.

Those are processors acting for us. Nobody else receives your enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we might reasonably still be useful to you, and longer where a job went ahead, because we keep records of work we have done. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to erase it. Write to globel@aakarstudiointeriors.com and we will answer.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, say so to the same address. We would rather hear it.

Payments

We do not see or store card details. When online payment is available on this site it will be handled by a payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and your card or account details go to them, never to us.

Children

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the end of this page changes with it.
