A console carved by hand — a continuous band of flowers and scrollwork running the length of the apron, and a carved cluster at the knee of each leg. The top is shaped rather than straight, so the piece reads as a curve against a wall.
Finished in the same champagne silver as The Crown, laid over the relief so the shadows stay and the depth still reads. Nobody sits at a console; it is there to be looked at, which is the argument for carving one.
